Ninja vs. Shark Movie Takes a Bite Out of Japanese Theaters in April
We’ll want an even bigger shuriken, as a result of the appropriately titled Ninja vs. Shark live-action movie is swimming to Japanese cinemas in April of 2023. The movie is directed by Koichi Sakamoto (BLACKFOX: Age of the Ninja, Hurricane Polymar) and stars Kohshu Hirano (Ultraman Z) and Shun Nishime (Kamen Rider Ghost).

Set within the Edo interval, the story of Ninja vs. Shark takes place within the distant village of Okitsu. Koushirou (performed by Yuichi Nakamura), an evil cult chief, makes use of ninjutsu to ensorcel sharks and forces them to assault native pearl divers so the cult can steal the pearls from their mangled corpses. Determined for assist, the village chief hires Kotaro Shiozaki (performed by Kohshu Hirano), a guard at a close-by temple, however Kotaro quickly finds his path blocked by Kikuma (Kanon Miyahara), a woman ninja, and a big shark that does not seem to be one thing from this world…
Ninja vs. Shark hits theaters in Japan on April 14, 2023.
