Resident Evil: Death Island CG Animated Film Gets Manga – News


Manga launches on Friday


The official Twitter account for CAPCOM‘s Resident Evil (Biohazard) franchise introduced on Tuesday that Resident Evil: Death Island (Japanese title: Biohazard: Demise Island), the brand new CG animated film in CAPCOM‘s Resident Evil sequence, is getting a manga adaptation on Kadokawa‘s Comedian Hu part of the Nico Nico Seiga web site on Friday. ZINO Kodakujii is drawing the manga.

The movie will open on July 7 in Japan.

Sony Pictures Entertainment is distributing the movie worldwide excluding Japan, and it describes the story:

D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious girl thwarts his pursuit. In the meantime, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, the place the reason for the an infection can’t be recognized. The one factor the victims have in widespread is that all of them visited Alcatraz Island lately. Following that clue, Chris and his workforce head to the island, the place a brand new horror awaits them.
